Three down. . .seventeen to go!

A couple of weeks ago I reached in my closet to grab an outfit that I hadn't worn in a while.  I got it on but it was tight!  What?!  Oh no. . .this can't be happening.  So, a lifestyle change is in full swing at our house.  Goodbye sweets and fried foods, hello HEALTHY!

I have given my students a little challenge - for every book they read, I will walk one mile!  They have totally taken me up on this and I believe I have already recorded 17 miles I will be walking.  I guess you could say they are helping me out! :)

Also, I've started Weight Watchers (this isn't the first time) and I'm having success.  I want to lose twenty pounds - three  down and seventeen to go!

Tonight's meal. . .

Santa Fe Salad with Chili-Lime Dressing

Spirit Week at Dayspring!

Ok. . so last week was exhausting! :)  Homecoming was a huge success (as always) and we  had a blast celebrating  with Spirit Week!

One of my sweet students!  Her mother was not thrilled with either of our choices for favorite sports team day!

Tara and I had as much fun as the kiddos did!

You should have seen this in person.  Their hats were too funny!

My SpiderMan

Super Teacher!  (Yes, I wore this all day long.)

Bat Girl and Super Teacher made an awesome team!

It has to be somewhat embarrassing having your mother be dressed like this!

Blue and Gold Day - need I say more?

We had a blast!

Tara is such a great friend.

Career day - Country music star (of course).

Check out this future doctor!

I love this silly picture of the team.  Go, Shires!

Precious. . .that's all I've got to say!

Father/Son ballgame.  Andy's dad has the ball - look at Andy's face!
