Mud Run 2014

This past Saturday was the second annual Camp Le'Prat Mud Run.  Andy was more than excited to be able to help his dad and Uncle Jeremy work on the course this year.  I lost track of the number of weekends they spent working to create an awesome trail.  We were all praying for just enough rain to make the run good and muddy - he answered us in a special way!  Lots and lots of sweet rain made the course perfect for supreme muddiness (is that a word?).  Approximately 150 people ran the race - ladies and gentlemen of all ages and lots of muddy kids!  Chris and I were able to help and were stationed at one of the obstacles - the monkey bars!  We laughed and cheered on the runners as most of them fell into the mud pit underneath.  Andy came running through with his buddies and they were all having a great time.  It wasn't long until mom called from the finish line to say that Andy was hurt and with the EMT's.  I got there as soon as I could and rushed him to the clinic. . .9 stitches later he was as good as new! :)  You should've seen the mud trail we left behind at the clinic!
